My name is Amanda Jeffrey, i am a registered childminder in Consett. I was recently graded overall good with areas of outstanding by Ofsted.
I have been childminding since 2007, i have looked after children of various ages ranging from 5 months to 13 years, but have experience with older and younger children through my role as a mum, I have 5 children of my own aged between 18 years and 8 years. 4 of whome are still living at home.
I am a network and Quality Assured childminder in Consett.
I have completed my level 3 in Playwork, Childrens Care, Learning and Development and Dilpoma in Home based Childcare, and went onto start my foundation degree in early years with the Open University.I have currently completed part of this and have achieved level 4 certificate in early years practice. My intention is to complete BA (hons) Childhood and Youth Studies.
I have also completed many more courses including first aid, child protection, CAF practitioner, to name a few, all certificates are available to view.
I work 24 hours a day as I am registered to provide overnight care 7 days a week.

I currently pick up from Delves Lane Nursery, Infants and Juniors. Consett infants and St Patricks Nursery. I may be able to collect from others .
I take up to 4 weeks holiday per year, and don't work bank holidays
